Step competitions with your friends
Your iPhone is already counting. Lockstep puts the number on a
leaderboard and lets somebody beat you with it.
How it works
- Sign in with Apple, connect Health, pick a username.
- Start a competition — a week, a month, a custom range, a head-to-head, or a race
to a step target — and send the link.
- Steps sync on their own, including overnight. Nobody has to remember to log
anything.
- Leave a note on a day. Take a rest day and say so.
What it does not do
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics, and nothing sold to anybody.
- It reads your step count and nothing else from Health — no routes, no workouts,
no heart rate — and never writes back.
- No public profiles and no feed. Only people you compete with see your steps.

Lockstep is in beta.
It is being tested through TestFlight while it is finished, so it is not
on the App Store yet. If somebody has sent you an invite link, open it on your
iPhone.
