Write to support@locksteptracker.app. A person reads it.
Reporting a person, a note or a photo. Send the username and what you saw. Reports are read within 24 hours and acted on — a note or a photo that breaks the rules is removed and the account can be suspended. You can also block somebody from their profile in the app straight away, which hides each of you from the other immediately and does not wait on anybody here.
Things that come up
My steps are wrong, or missing
Lockstep does not count anything itself. It reads the daily total Apple Health already holds, after Health has removed the double-counting between your iPhone and any watch or ring — so the number in Lockstep should match the number in the Health app exactly. If it does not, check that Health is still connected: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Lockstep. Opening Lockstep syncs; you do not have to do anything else.
If a day is still wrong, you can type it in by hand on the Steps screen. A manual entry is marked as manual and everybody in the competition can see that it is.
I cannot join a competition from a link
An invite works only while the competition is still a draft. Once the organizer starts it, the roster is frozen and the link stops working for everybody. Ask them to add you before they start it, or to run it again afterwards.
I want to change my username
Display names can be changed whenever you like. Usernames cannot — they are how people find and add each other, and a username that moves breaks that for everybody who already added you. Write in if you have a real reason and it can be done by hand.
Deleting my account
Profile → Settings → Delete account, or write in and it will be done for you. What is removed and what stays is set out on the privacy page.
Something crashed
Say what you were doing and what iPhone you are on. If you are in the TestFlight beta, TestFlight's own “Send Feedback” attaches a screenshot and the crash log, which is more useful than anything you could type.
